William Griffini started his first professional experience as Consultant within an Executive and Middle Management Search company of which he became Partner afterwards. In 2003, together with a team of professionals and managers, he founded Carter & Benson of which he is still CEO and Partner. In 2007 he widened the activity of Carter & Benson adding to the Executive Search division, the Middle Management one, specialized in the search and selection of Quadri and Neo Dirigenti and, in 2018, he furtherly evolved the business model with the establishment of the Strategy Division. Throughout his more than 20-year career, he has developed a strong multi-sector experience that allowed him to achieve successfully many search projects in different industries working closely with complex and articulated companies.Fond of life and people, he has been able to create within his company a climate where the concept of team, collaboration and responsibility is very strong. Great sportsman, he loves the mountains in all its declinations and his motto is “The effort makes more sense if you share it with friends”.
After taking her degree in Business Economics from the Università Bocconi, Simona Cremascoli has acquired significant commercial competences in the Medical Devices industry mainly in France and Spain. In 1998 she started her career in the Human Resources field as Consultant. Since 2004 Simona Cremascoli has been Partner of Carter & Benson. From 2022 she becomes Senior Partner. Thanks to the experiences she made abroad and the fluent knowledge of English, French and Spanish, she is responsible for the management of the International Projects and relations with IMD International Search Group Network of which she is now Board Member. Very sporty, she loves mountains, travelling, running and playing tennis, all passions that she shares with her friends. Reading essays, novels and athletes’ biographies represents a regular activity in her spare time.
Graduated in Political Sciences and with a Master attended at IFOR/SDA of Milan, at first Giovanni Carbone has worked in the Hotel sector dealing with HR Selection and Recruitment, Training and Development. Then, he started operating in the Logistics area for Unilever. Afterwards, he started dealing with Organizational Consulting and Executive Search in a consulting firm of which he became Partner in 1999. In 2010 he became Certified Coach supporting managers and companies in different development initiatives. In 2012 he entered Carter & Benson of which he is Senior Partner. A string instrument stalker for many years and also a frequent concertgoer and music lover of all genres, almost to the point of defining his hobby as being his terminal illness. It is with great pleasure that in the last few years he has become interested in Mindfulness. He is a lover of various sports among which Tennis, Football, Skiing and Running.
Eugenio Payer started his professional career in 1998 within an Executive and Middle Management Search company with the role of Consultant dealing with Business Development. In 2004 he entered Carter & Benson as Consultant mainly focusing on the Retail, Real Estate, Digital & Professional Services practices. From 2008 onwards, as Senior Consultant, he has broadened his competences to the E-Commerce/Digital domain following its rapid evolution towards the New Media and Web. Since 2015 he has been Partner of Carter & Benson, from 2022 he becomes Senior Partner. Football, (Milan above all else) and any kind of sports in general have always been irresistible lures to which he simply cannot resist and it’s a passion that he’s lucky enough to share with his children more and more. Loves to travel and get to know the worlds various cultures and emotions that are generated from the fusion of man and nature together.
Graduated in International Sciences and European Institutions, Chiara Arosio achieved a major in International Relations as well, both with full marks. In 2017 she attended an Executive Master in Digital Transformation at Hfarm. She has gained experience in the HR field, at first within a well-known company operating in the event sector and then at the National Institute of Nuclear Physics. In 2010 she entered Carter & Benson becoming passionate about headhunting and covering shortly the role of Principal with focus on the creation of Special Projects and Assessment development. From 2022 she becomes Partner. She gets excited by the possibility to satisfy her curiosity, penetrating ever-changing sectors, companies, functions and roles and by the opportunity to confront with professionals who allow her to do one of the things she loves most, change idea. Curious and sociable, she is passionate about home furnishings, reading and travelling. Serial smeller of any type of perfume, scent, incense and fabric softener, her biggest regret is not having made what is affectionaly called a “Nose”.
Graduated Cum Laude in Management,Finance and International Business from the Università di Bergamo, Lorenzo Bassi has showed interest in Strategy, Organization and HR from the very beginning. In 2015 he entered Carter & Benson, where he soon covered the role of Principal. From 2022 he becomes Partner. Thanks to a Master in Digital Entrepreneurship, he strengthened his focus on the search of Managers in the Digital and Strategy area, on the development of Assessments and projects with Strategic and Organizational impact. He is often involved in international projects thanks to his excellent knowledge of languages, in particular English and Spanish. Passionate about mountains, he occasionally works as Ski Instructor at the Scuola Sci La Thuile. Fond of sport, he is steadily at the lookout of new “adventures and challenges”: such as the IronMan for example that he concluded successfully for the second time in a row and his recent participation to the hardest trail running competition, “Tor des Géants”, that he finished after having run for 330 km along the High Routes of Aosta Valley. His motto is: “If you are looking for excuses, look around you… however, if you are looking for answers, you must look inside you”.
Graduated in Psychology at the Università La Sapienza of Rome, after the achievement of the qualification to practice the profession, Niccolò Drago decided to start a training path in HR Organization at the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi. Strengthened by this academic background, then furtherly reinforced with a Master in Digital Entrepreneurship, in 2015 he entered Carter & Benson where he is currently covering the role of Senior Principal with the supervision of the operations in support of Partners and in-house teams. Fond of cinema and music, he never misses a chance to dedicate to sport, which he regularly practices, better with his friends. Connoisseur of good beer, he is always looking for new labels preferably craft beers.
Graduated in Political and Social Sciences at the Catholic University of Milan, Veronica Sartori initially works in the Training area in an important German multinational company. Then she deals with Personnel Selection at a Middle Management Search company, where she becomes passionate about the world of headhunting. In 2018 she joins Carter & Benson, a company where she rounds off her professional profile both under the management profile, coordinating a team of resources, and through the knowledge of different sectors and their peculiarities. Today she covers the role of Principal. Passionate about art, she never misses an opportunity to travel and visit exhibitions, her great interest. She loves to spend her free time in the middle of nature (mountain or sea), where she is estranged from the world to find her energy.
She arrived in Milan 5 years ago with the desire to grow and establish herself. Annalisa graduated in Economics and Business Management. Thanks to a significant experience in a Junior Enterprise, a consulting company for young talents, she approaches the world of human resources. Driven by the desire to understand more and to acquire the necessary tools to face the working world, she obtains the Master in Organization and Personnel at Bocconi University. She joins Carter & Benson in July 2021. Today she covers the role of Senior Associate Consultant. She is the youngest of the team, but don’t be fooled, because nothing escapes her eye, not by chance question face is her nickname. Pragmatism and diplomacy do not take her smile away. A lover of networking and conviviality, she will not deny quality people her time. She enjoys travelling, the sea, sunsets and beautiful landscapes, dinners with friends and, why not, a cheerful hip hop dance.
Barbara Sini, born in Milan in 1972, graduated in Law, after a long experience as consultant in prestigious media agencies in Milan, she joins Carter & Benson in 2005 as Consultant and becomes Recruiting Manager in 2008. Today she is the head of a team that manages all the activities of mapping & intelligence, market analysis and mapping of business organizations.
She is also engaged in training activities for new resources in the company and supports CEO, Partners and Principals in the management of company objectives. Enthusiastic by nature, she finds her maximum inspiration in working in synergy with young and passionate people and in Carter & Benson the game is soon done! His slogan? In your life, you need Rhythm and Style!
Passionate about soccer, fitness and dance, funny and energetic, she loves to travel with family and friends but above all to share moments of fun with her beautiful little girl and her beloved dog!
Graduated in History of Contemporary Art, Laura Montevago decided to take her Master in Human Resources at Il Sole 24Ore School. In 2021, Laura joined the Carter & Benson Team as Senior Associate Consultant.
Art addicted, especially of Contemporary Art, Laura spend her spare time by visiting and exploring the latest exhibitions of her favourite artists around the world.
Born in Genoa and adopted by Milan, Chiara Pugliese graduated in Public Relations and Business Communication at IULM University with a thesis entitled “Organizations in search of well-being: the role of mindfulness practices”. The interest developed for the Human Resources field during her academic path and her innate curiosity led her to choose the ISTUD Master in Human Resources and Organization. After an experience in a Dutch multinational Company and another one in an important German Company, in 2020 Chiara joins Carter & Benson. The openness to change and the continuous challenge push her constantly to chase her passions and always find new ones. For her, music and food are two arts in perfect harmony, one serving the other as a source of inspiration.
Born and raised in the province of Naples, Alessia Bergamasco reached Milan driven by her desire to find new growth opportunities. She graduated in Psychology from Federico II University, she then knew the HR world and enrolled in the MasterOP – Organization and Human Resources from Bocconi University. She started her career within the human resources field joining Carter & Benson in July 2022 with the position of Junior Consultant and now Associate Consultant. Alessia has been a scout since she was 10, an experience that has accompanied her growth and thanks to that, she has been able to cultivate passions such as hiking and camping. She loves being outdoors, but she is also passionate about fantasy books and TV series of all kinds.
After graduating in Modern Languages and Cultures for Business and Tourism, Vittoria Dellarosa, decided to enter the Human Resources field by undertaking a master’s degree at Sole24Ore. In May 2022, she joined Carter & Benson where she holds the position of Associate Consultant. Passionate with music, cinema and travel, Vittoria never misses a chance to travel, discover new cultures and meet new people.
Born and raised in Foggia, Alessandro Rita has a long experience as agricultural entrepreneur and a past as Game Designer. He graduated in Political Science from the University “Aldo Moro” of Bari and obtained a Master in Organization and Human Resources from the Bocconi University. Since 2022 he has been Associate Consultant in Carter & Benson.
He loves travelling, good food (especially Roman cuisine) and music, especially rock ‘n’ roll, and he can’ t wait to plan his next concert. In his free time, he loves playing electric guitar, without which he could never live.
Federica Cosentino graduated in Philosophical Sciences at the State University of Milan and then followed a number of training courses that enabled her to approach the world of work. After an experience in the editorial staff, she follows a course of Human Resources, which will allow her to approach the recruiting world, initially in an employment agency. She finally arrives at the consultancy and at Carter & Benson, where she is now Associate Consultant. Federica loves nature and animals and in her free time she loves reading.
Born and raised in Milan, she developed an early passion for understanding the human mind and the
dynamics behind thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This curiosity led her to study Psychology, with the
goal of combining the exploration of individual motivations with a strong interest in organizational
contexts.
During her academic journey, she spent a year in Barcelona — an experience that allowed her to engage
with people from all over the world, in an environment where diversity and inclusion were not just values,
but daily practice.
After earning her Master’s degree in Social, Economic and Decision-Making Psychology, she took her first
steps into the world of headhunting, driven by the desire to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
and to gain exposure to a wide variety of industries and professional profiles.
She joined Carter & Benson in March 2025, where she is now growing her career with enthusiasm. What
defines her approach is curiosity, a strong drive to learn, and a genuine interest in people and relationships.
At Carter & Benson, she feels in the right place — welcomed, challenged, and encouraged to grow a little
more every day.
In her free time, she enjoys watching alpine skiing, spending time with her nieces, and, whenever she gets
the chance, packing her suitcase for her next trip — always in search of new landscapes, stories, and
inspiration.
After graduating in Political Science and International Relations – and after a one-year Erasmus in Spain – Egidio enters the HR world in 2022, confronting the dynamic reality of New Media & Information Technology. He then joins Carter & Benson in 2023 with the desire to deepen his knowledge in the field and work in a young and challenging reality. Goal-oriented, he is driven by a strong curiosity and decisiveness. Inside his phone you will find long lists of restaurants to try and quotes from his favorite books, as well as several photos of sunsets, and many (many) reminders to always have everything organized in his calendar!
After graduating in Sociology, Francesca Finco decides to enter the HR world attending a MasterOP at the Università Bocconi of Milan. In July 2023 she joined Carter & Benson with the role of Junior Consultant. Francesca expresses her own dynamism and research of new incentives also through the most ordinary activities such as playing paddle or organizing a new travel.
Claudia was born in Milan, but she is Roman by adoption. After graduating in Linguistic Sciences for International Relations from the Università Cattolica of Milan, her path brings her to discover a great passion for head hunting. Since then, she started an adventure in the HR search and selection field with the aim to add a consulting approach to the skills acquired. In September 2024 she joined Carter & Benson, determined to grow as specialist in the sector. Lover of arthouse cinema and classical music, Claudia finds her worklife balance concentrating on her artistic passions and dedicating her spare time to long mountain hiking trails.
Graduated in Public Relations and Corporate Communication, Camilla Franco Macagno starts working in the Real Estate field, where she gets passionate to the HR world. Motivated by the desire to acquire the right skills, she enrolls in the HR 24ORE Business School Master’s Degree of Milan. Today, she holds the role of Junior Consultant in Carter & Benson. Passionate about tennis, ski and golf, sport teached her how to face challenges and get always involved. She loves the sea, but above all the mountains where she dedicates herself to walks exploring breathtaking landscapes.
Always passionate about art and culture, she graduated with a degree in Art History with a specialization in
Contemporary Art. After initial work experience in the art sector, she approached the
world of Human Resources and Headhunting, attracted by a dynamic and highly
focused environment.
She joined Carter & Benson in September 2025, after experience in recruiting for the
fashion and luxury sectors, taking on the role of Junior Consultant.
A passionate traveler, she seizes every opportunity to discover new cultures and live authentic
experiences, with a predilection for exhibitions and museums, which she visits all over the world.
After graduating in Sociology from the Università Milano-Bicocca, she decides to deepen her knowledge of the HR world attending the HR 24ORE Business School Master, with the aim to focus her professional career on the search and selection field. During the Master, she gets interested about the head hunting world and the typical distinctive dynamism of consulting companies. Therefore, in September 2023 she joined Carter & Benson as Junior Consultant with the objective to make use of her studies in a context that could match with her energetic nature. She spends her spare time among dinners with friends, listening to true crime podcasts with her cat, experimenting in cooking and fantasticating about how wonderful will be living at the seaside one day.
Graduated in Law with a qualification to practice the legal profession, after a working experience abroad as Compliance Consultant, Enrica Musumeci moved to Milan to undertake the HR 24ORE Business School Master’s Degree. Once concluded, in July 2024 she joined Carter & Benson with the role of Junior Consultant. She loves travelling (alone and in company) and in her spare time she dedicates herself to weekends out, to her friends and fitness.
With a B.A. in Translation and then a Master degree in Languages and Foreign Literatures, Beatrice joined Carter & Benson in March 2005 covering the role of Corporate Communication Manager with the supervision of the corporate communication activities on social networks and website. She keeps the relations with organizations, training schools, universities, institutions and journalists in order to promote the innovative internal working model and other initiatives, among which CSR projects, organizing and managing the participation of the CEO and Partners to webinar, events and interviews. Previously, she has been working as editor and translator at the financial press agency MF-DJ (Class Editori) becoming journalist. Pioneer of smart working, from the fashion capital she reached the Ligurian “Riviera of Flowers” more than a decade ago. Reliable, precise, introspective, since she was a child she has loved writing down her wandering thoughts collecting them on scattered papers, every now and then in rhymed couplets or alternate rhymes. Passionate reader, two wheels-lover and keen on nature walks, she likes skiing and boating but above all sharing adventurous breakaways with her family and friends to taste every time different food and new places. In short, as a mom… she defines herself as an extreme family equilibrist and multitasking queen!
With a B.A. in Linguistic Mediation, Interpreting and Translation and subsequently a Master degree in Languages and Cultures for International Communication and Cooperation, Elena joined Carter & Benson in December 2015, developing a rapid career that led her to Administration. The interest in languages, foreign cultures and translation remains great and finds its space in readings, trips and courses. Accuracy and pragmatism are attitudes that Elena applies both in her professional and private life, always looking for more efficient ways of doing things. In her free time, Elena practices inline skating, stand-up paddleboarding, trekking, running, cycling, skiing, functional workout.
A degree in Languages, many of which are fluently spoken, with a specialization as Interpreter and Translator, achieved at Scuola Superiore di Interpreti e Traduttori, Naples and Rome sites, and an academic path at the IULM in Milan totally oriented towards their in-depth study, define Raffaella Santoro as a passionate, reliable and consistent person, who has grow up professionally by trying to never lose sight of what she believes matters in life. Previously in reality as Auchan, BCG and McKinsey, since 2012 Raffaella has been in Carter & Benson, where she is Senior Office Specialist, following the full organization of internal activities, supporting the Teams in the management of operational relationships with external customers and dedicating particular attention to the editorial and linguistic aspects of the documents reliesed. Empathic and attentive to people, in her other life Raffaella is Vice President of a Voluntary Organization and founder of an Organization dedicated to Cultural Integration operating in the Alto Milanese area (she herself is a teacher at the Italian School for Foreigners of the Organisation which is part of Caritas), and loves working with young people she considers an inexhaustible source of amazement and energy (she created the project The Bridge launched in the High Schools with Carter & Benson, in 2016) . Mother of two beautiful daughters whom she adores, writing is Raffaella’s great passion, She was in fact a journalist for Il Giorno Legnano and Milan, she collaborated with Il Mattino and CBS fiction and was the Author and Editor of a column “Il Quaderno di Penelope” published for some years by a local newspaper.
Passionate about travelling and curious to discover the world, she began her journey in the knowledge of languages by studying Foreign Languages and Literatures at Università Statale di Milano and continued by starting a Master in Audio-visual Translation. In Carter & Benson since December 2021 with the role of Office & Administration Specialist. Active and dynamic, with a strong passion for cinema and reading. Her secret wish has always been to fix a Volkswagen truck and undertake a long journey around the world, without any precise destination.
Part of the Carter & Benson crew since March 2023, Sofia has a linguistic background defined with a Degree in Linguistic Mediation achieved at the School for Interpreters and Translators in Rome and a specialization in Audiovisual Translation in Milan. She chose Milan as her adoptive city to satisfy her need to consolidate the professional path began with her studies. Dynamic, lively and sunny, Sofia fills her spare time with several interests such as cinema, music and languages, which remain her comfort zone. Great devourer of movies and TV series, partly out of passion and partly out of professional deformation, she travels as much as possible and enjoys playing the ukulele.
